Thanet Earth, situated in East Kent is one of the UK’s largest commercial plant nurseries and climate-controlled growers of tomatoes and peppers, using the largest greenhouse in the UK. The site was initially commissioned in late 2010 and continues to expand. The building is so large it can easily be seen from space.

The challenge for Guardian was to provide Thanet Earth with an integrated Fire and Intruder Alarm system, with remote monitoring, in a climate-controlled environment, working around multi-million-pound heating equipment. We deployed our combined solution, on time, and within budget. We will now be providing maintenance and support to the UK`s largest greenhouse. We are proud to be protecting such a high-profile building.
