Burglars are always coming up with new ways to target vulnerable people for whatever they can get their hands on. A recent trend has supermarket thieves working in groups to distract staff members away from the checkout. Why? So that they can watch elderly shoppers enter their pin numbers.

Once the shoppers have paid and left, the gang will work together to surreptitiously steal the card in the car park outside the supermarket.

The video below illustrates a group of three malicious thugs, one of whom is a woman, working as a team to distract the checkout supervisor.
